Stewart Elected New CVSN President

(Jacksonville, FL – September 25, 2009) – At the recent, very successful, Aftermarket Distribution Summit at Amelia Island, Florida Tom Stewart, President of Carolina Rim & Wheel was elected as President of the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network.   The CVSN slate of Officers for 2010-2011 is

Vice President - Marc Karon, Total Truck Parts, West Palm Beach, Florida

Treasurer – Harry Amoroso, B & A Friction Materials, Inc., San Jose, California

The inaugural Aftermarket Distribution Summit just recently concluded, drew nearly 160 attendees for three days of issue-focused panels, technology updates and networking events on Amelia Island, Florida. 
        

The new event combined the fall Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) meeting, the HDX Technology Conference and Truck Parts & Service magazine’s Truck Parts Seminar.

CVSN, with close to 100 members and over 500 warehouse locations across North America, is the voice of the independent aftermarket distributor. The mission of CVSN is to strengthen its members’ businesses and the relationships between members and their supply partners. 

CVSN will host it’s next Summit from September 12-15, 2010 at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
